MASTERS Tournament - Indoor - Singles - 2026

On March 23, 2026, the Czech Bowls Association (ČABOW), in cooperation with the TJ Sokol Liboc bowls club, organized the fifth MASTERS Indoor Singles Bowls Tournament.

The competition was attended by eight players invited by the association who had shown the best performance during the winter season (the key criterion was their ranking in the indoor doubles and triples championships). The tournament was planned for both men and women. However, not all invited players were able to attend, so seven spots were filled by players from TJ Sokol Liboc and one by a player from TJ Astra ZM.

The players were drawn into two groups, with two players from each group advancing to the semifinals.

The tournament once again featured very strong performances from all participants and a number of interesting results. Certainly, no one fully expected the excellent performance of Karel Šturm, who, like Jindřich Svatoň, advanced from the group stage with ease. They were joined in the semifinals by both Jards—Novák and Vrátný. In the semifinals, both group winners easily defeated their opponents. Jaroslav Novák and Jaroslav Vrátný thus shared third place. In the final, Jindřich Svatoň, who had played nearly flawlessly all day, deservedly prevailed, while Karel Šturm took second place.
